Health and Safety

Conker Nation Ltd. has health and safety at the forefront of its mind for all aspects of our business, from our scaffolding equipment to the operatives PPE, to ensure that our work is undertaken in a professional and safe manner.

We follow the health and safety guidelines for all of our works in accordance with TG:20 compliance for the supply, erect and dismantling phases of all our works.

We purchase all of our scaffolding equipment such as, tube, fittings and boards from approved suppliers in the UK.

PPE is essential in making sure our operatives are as safe as possible when working. We work closely with our suppliers to make sure we provide the most up to date and job specific PPE for our operatives so that they can perform their roles as safely and efficiently as possible.

A key component to attaining and increasing our growing portfolio of work is making sure we have the right insurance policy should any issues take place whilst we are working. We have public liability insurance to the value of £10,000,000.00. Without this important policy we would not be able to undertake many projects for health and safety reasons.

Making sure we transport our operatives to and from jobs safely is another crucial part of our health and safety protocol. We have an Operator’s license for our HGV vehicles and have fleet insurance for all our vehicles. We work with mechanics on an 8-week cycle to ensure our fleet is inspected and checked, to eliminate any risks or issues with our vehicles when they are driving to and from jobs.

Conker Nation Ltd. works tirelessly in attaining and growing its health and safety networks. We ensure we meet health and safety standards via Acclaim and SSIP. When renewing and applying for our CHAS and Constructionline memberships these accreditations ensure that we are meeting and exceeding health and safety standards.
