Staff and Training
At Conker Nation we are proud to have numerous employees working as scaffolding operatives and office staff to ensure we are continually successful in develop our organisation in all aspects. We aim to work with our employees to map out personal development plans to help them improve and upskill themselves. We do this by working with our partners, CITB (Construction Industry Training Board). They assist us with a multitude of staff training opportunities within the scaffolding construction industry which allows our employees the chance to better themselves, becoming an even greater asset to Conker Nation.
All of our scaffolding operatives are CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) ticketed. Industry standard qualifications provide our employees the knowledge and skills they need to development and allow them to work on all manner of constructions sites.
In addition to this, in the last couple of years we have worked with CITB to enrol an apprenticeship scheme for younger people looking to work within the construction industry. We have a dedicated liaison at CITB who works with our apprentices to arrange college sessions and monthly site review meetings to make sure the apprentices are hitting their learning objectives, allowing them to achieve their fundamental goal of being a fully qualified scaffolder.
